Heres what you do...but you need to start now. Seasonal workers make a job out of being available to the first resort that calls once it starts snowing. So, you go there and apply in person at each resort and follow up in person if you don't hear back. Make them know who you are and what kind of work you want so you're one of the first they call. There ususally comes a second wave of job openings right around the holidays when people realize they don't like the work or having to work the holidays. Once again, you have to be available to work at a moment's notice. That is key to getting your foot in the door! the first season is the hardest, but once you have a good reputation and a season or two behind you, it'll be easy.
Also, go to their hiring fairs!

A few resorts have day care centers. Find out which ones those are and call them to find out when their hiring fair is.
They're usually in Late Sept through Oct.
Almost all large resorts have hiring fairs, with all departments represented. you then go talk to the dept heads you'd like to work for...
