My internet was down for a day and I thought I would die lol. I thought that maybe we could see a movie. Have you ever listened to the phone message that lists the times for movies? It goes on and on and you are just waiting for 1. I can get online and choose a movie in 1 minute.
So then I thought that we would go rent a movie. I hate to go to the store if there is nothing I want to see. So I always check online to see what the new releases are, but I couldn't.
If I need to know what a word means I just go to a dictionary site and find it immediately. Much less time than looking it up.
In addition to the computer, I recently had a flat tire. I just picked up my cell phone and dialed for help.
A keyboard rather than a keyboard saves an enormous amount of time. If I mess up I just hit backspace or highlight an entire passage and move it. In the days of typewriters you either had to get out the white out or start over!
These are truly conveniences that I have grown accustomed to.

Technology by way of cell phone has made my life very convenient. It has many great features including: I can call anyone whenever I want, I have the internet to access whatever website I need, I have an mp3 player built in, and also can download programs like flashcards and the periodic table to help with school. Oh it also has games, an alarm clock, and calculator as well. Very very convenient!

Wash machine, dryer....I would hate to think of washing everything by hand. Then hanging it out to dry. I do not know if this kind of technology is what you are looking for or something more modern. Like the computer, the computer you can order your own airline tickets. No travel agency fee. Although it is easier to call the travel agent. Do not own a cell phone. Everyday life is made much easier by microwaves, ATM machines, just think what your life would be like without hair dryers, running water, oven, coffee pot, etc.
p.s. glad you added the just answer the question.

When typing essays for school.
I love being able to type on a word proccessor rather than writing by hand, it makes rewriting much easier and my hands don't cramp up.
Also it is great having access to all the information I need via the internet to do my research for my essays from home and not have to go to the library all the time.
I participate in this question and answers forum to kill time and see how my answers compare to others who actually have well thought out answers.

I don't like technology too much, and i'm not very good at it,but it has helped to get in contact with my sister, brother and my 2 best friends, because i live in Puerto Rico and they live in the states and it has helped me to pay the bills, since I don't have the time,so,it saves me a lot of time, and to find things i want that i can't get here or get for a better price through internet. now,I don't know if this answers your question, but i hope it does.

* I can travel to a foreign country with just my visa card and go to the hotel I've booked on-line, withdraw some cash from a machine in the wall of a bank I've never heard of, find a house in this town I've never been to before and visit a friend I haven't seen for thirty years but found again on "old friends.com".
