Do you put it on one arm, then reach around behind you to put the other sleeve on, or do you flip it around and over your head? I've noticed that people on TV always do it the first way, and I do it the 2nd way.

I do it 1st way - but my kids and husband do it second way so either is best!!! whichever works for you. the first would of course be more acceptable in public places but harder to reach... for a hurry do the second !!!!

One arm at a time is the correct way to put a coat on. Some parents teach small children to put coats on by flipping them over their heads. But that is just a way for a small child to accomplish something easily. It's time to grow up!

Depends. If I'm in a hurry, it's easier to flip it over my head. If I am dressed to go somewhere nice, I would rather reach around the back so I don't mess up my hair and makeup with the sleeve or something dragging across my face.

i used to do it in the second way , while i was in pre -school , . question has inspired me to cont doing it in the second way .
