Have you noticed how the "think-tanks" now have our 'number'?

It seems we just can't get enough of it...the FEAR factor...it's how corporate America is taking away your pensions, your benefits, your vacations, your overtime...why gas is $3.00/gallon...why housing since 9/11 in the US has skyrocketed like no other time in history, all hidden away in FEAR. Concentrate on the FEAR, so you don't think of anything else rational beyond immediate survival...

We'll, I for one am not buying into this garbage, because no matter how many times I watch those
aircraft hit the towers, and contemplate on how incompetent our leaders/intelligence agencies, etc, nothing will change. No today. Not tomorrow. Like NEVER, as long as a human being is involved in ANY endevor, there will be screw-ups as usual.

God, I just can't wait for the next terror-cell speculative TV made-for-tv movie or program to 'enlighten' me, or 'inform' me.

Quality entertainment...right?

You didn't really ask a question.

But YES, I agree with you. I can't believe people fall for this. I mean, I DO watch the tv specials, but I do it to remember. I don't let it frighten me, and I don't let it "scare" me, as the government wishes, in order to creep into our civil liberties.

there is no point in being scared of terrorists or anything like that. There are more immediate issues to think about and resolve such as those you mentioned and things like the rising crime rate in our cities and the increasing costs for higher education due to the diverting of educational funds towards "defense"

The odds are greater I'll be shot by some random kid than be blown up by random terrorist and truthfully I'm not that consumed in that fact

9/11 is the date the voyager docked with the international space station. I'm aware of how bad the building thing was, but can't we move on. Terrible things are happening all over the world almost everyday. So one of them happens to us we adjust our course and move on. Remember them yes but try to look for the good things in life as well. I won't predend to understand all the things behind the things that happened, however, I do agree with you in principle.
