and i want to get into it alot more.. so we can share sumthing together, he has over 20 guitars and amps mic's the whole setup.. how do i get involed without cramping his own space.. bc i love music as well... we're both in to old school pumk, the ramones, the sex pistols, the clash, gg allin ect

If you live in or near a large city, get a portable CD player and borrow a bunch of CDs from your public library - what goes on in your headphones not only won't cramp his space, but having you "tuning out" will actually give him a little more space - you can cover a lot of ground and learn about a lot of music rather quickly, and the investment is minimal

You have a computer so download a bunch of songs or transfer his cd collection on to the computer organize the music and then make a list of the songs so he knows where to find them.
