I don't know or even heard of "Charter High Speed Securite Suite". Anyway if they are only telling you that your virus definations are old, I am surprised that they don't ask you to update your virus definitions via automatic updates.

Open your program and being that I don't, know this program look for all the options offered on the top of the program or to the left of the program. No harm to open them until you find the right options that will say. "Updates". Left click on updates an if you have a firewall you will get a pop-up from the right side of the tray with your firewall asking you to allow or deny. Always check off the box to remember & allow so the next time your firewall will not ask.

Then click on your updates and they should download all current updates.

This program may not have auto updates, so you may have to check daily to see if there are any updates. The program should tell you, no updates available, or you have the latest updates.

Good luck.

Open up charter security suite program and then click the latest update button (the right hand side says "check now", click that.)
