Something inside vibrates when ever my truck shifts. Usually when it's cold. It sounds like it's coming from somewhere in the dash or passenger side door. Could you give me some ideas to check.

It's in the drive shaft yoke splines at the transmission. GM makes a special lude that will stop this for about a year and then you'll have to reapply the lube again.

Maybe it's the jack or jack handle under the hood? I think they are stored there and sometimes aren't replaced properly after use. Also may be the heater control cable under the dash needs to be tied securely, or the glove box door doesn't shut tight.

No, they're a scam. Your truck already has a chilly air intake from the manufacturing facility (GM has completed this provided that a minimum of 1981) and you will assure the engineers designed it to furnish your engine with each and all the air it desires. do no longer fall for the import "tuner" rubbish.

cold tranny fluid not getting to the torque converter could cause a shimmy while shifting. Once it warms up and the fluid is able to move freely the torqu converter gets filled and balanced.

It's really hard for me to say without driving your truck. I would suggest calling your local dealer and have someone in their service department check it out.

well its just a very bad belt design. the belt is not bput on properly so when you shift, it runs fast but not the correct speed until a couple miliseconds after the shift.

Keep those FORD guys out from under the hood! They're accustomed to fixing "junk" and they'll screw it up every time! GM's were built to last and shouldn't need any "FIXIN"!!!!!!!!!
