Have sex when you're ovulating. Take pre-natal vitamins. Have fun and try not to be stressed out about it.

How long have you been trying conceive? My husband and I have been married for 4 years. I stopped taking the pill 5 months before our wedding. We didn't really try until two years ago. If you've been trying for about a year or longer, I'd suggest to go to a fertility specialist just to see if there's anything wrong with either of you. I was seeing an fertility specialist all of last year and found out that I had poly cystic ovarian syndrome (I only had 2 periods in 2004) and endometriosis (painful menses) -- I even had 2 unsuccessful inseminations. :( Because of the cost, tests and everything we had to go through, we decided to take a break and try again later on this year. Well, I'm not sure if the inseminations had a hand in it or if it was because we finally got a chance to relax, but we finally got pregnant! I'm 20 weeks tomorrow! Good luck in whatever you decide to do! :)

If the normal method doesn't work, talk to your doctor.
The can and will assist you with a fertility expert that
can discuss the options and treatments available.

Keep in mind, sometimes these things take time.
Don't give up on trying the old fashioned way until
you are fairly certain it's not working.

Also keep track of your cycles and calculate the times
when you may stand the best chances. The do sell
over the counter tests for both sexes, but when in doubt
seek a doctor's advice.

Go to the store and spend $20 on a ovulation kit. Also keep this in mind, some women do not ovulate every month. Believe it or not. So that was a month waiting in vein. The more you have sex the less likely you are to get pregnant, I know that sound weird. But if you are having sex every day his sperm count will get lowered and so if you have sex the day you ovulate his sperm may be so low that the egg does not get fertilized. So buy that kit, and try not to have sex for a few days before you think you might ovulate, for most people its 14 days from the day you start your period. If he wears tight pants and doesn't wear boxers it can lower his sperm count as well. Ask him to switch for a while. I've got two kids and one on the way and I gave this advice to my neighbor she got pregnant in one month. Doesn't mean you will but it's worth a shot.

go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! My husband and I tried for a year and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Make sure you are counting the days in your cycle. Most normal cycles last 28 days. You are most likely to become pregnant between your 12-16 day. Sprem can live inside of you for 48 hours so if you have sex on each of those days, you are likely to ovulate on one of those days. This worked for me and I am sure it might work for you as well. You can also purchase ovulation kits at Walmart for a very low price. This will show when you are ovulating thus making is possible for you to become pregnant. Good Luck.

you ovulate 14 days before your period. one week after your period ends. approximately. so, here's what I did. The day I was expecting to ovulate, using these calculations, I worked around. We had sex five days before, during and five days after, just to be safe, because ovulation can fluctuate. it's not exact. But also, we didn't have sex every day. every other day. to let him build up. the more you have sex, sperm count goes down and lessens your chances. sperm lives and swims around in there for a few days, so every other day really works. also, I went to sleep every night after sex, with a pillow folded over and propped under my butt and i slept on my back. just to make sure the little swimmers got there and stayed there until one found the egg. gravity works wonders! am here I am 18 weeks tomorrow. hope this helps! good luck!

What worked for me count back 28-30 days from the first day of your period like if your period begins on the 13 you count back 28 days...or get a fertile/ovulation test at your local drug store, they're kinda like a pregnancy test.

She should lay down after sex and not get up for at least 10mts. Stress can prevent conception and having an orgasm helps with conceiving too. Hubby should wear boxers and not briefs. Taking echinacea can help speed things up too. Good luck and God Bless you!

Ovulation predictor tests! Buy two kits and test for 10-14 days around your estimated ovulation time.
