any special maintenance, how is it adjusted?

The mos neglected requirement is the most misunderstood requirement, the "cool-down".
The turbo turbine at times turns as much as 100,000 RPM and is subject to intense heat. This heat has a tendency to cook the oil around it.
The manufacturer uses the oil to cool as well as lubricate.
When the oil is cooked, the residue will begin to remain on and around the turbin shaft and seals. The best thing for this is to allow the engine to idle for 1 to 3 minutes before shut-down, allowing the oil system to cool the components a little to help avoid the "coking" of the shaft, seals, and bearings supporting the turbine.

Good Luck

S10 chevys never came with turbos - so that in it self its a modified vehicle.

Turbo maintance - its self maintaned - it either works or doesnt.

Best thing to keep your eyes open to is Oil leaks - not knowing how your vehicle uses oiling for your Turbo , most use the Engine Oil to suppply oil to the Turbo itself. LEAKS = Turbo death.

If external oiling system is present research it online - might give you a understanding of the system. But for the most part they are self contained.

Got an aftermarket kit on yours? The only real extra mainenance it's likely to require is that you really shouldn't skimp on oil changes for a turbo engine.
