how do i break through to the parents i am a state trooper and own my own place and do alot of there house repairs free of charge yet they still dislike me

It states in the bible that thy shell not Judge. for which if they are judging you then they are not true Church people, (forgive me for my bad spelling).

Dont do them any favors. They probably turn around and say: What a suck up. Then, tell them,... "I read the book of Matthews, when Jesus got real upset with the jewish leaders of the time. Then, he called them Hipocrites! Why dont you practice what you preach, and the golden rule, treat others like you would like to be treated..... I dont know, these scriptures reminded me of you guys....." That will hurt so bad. I did that to my friend's parents and they apoligized. So now, everything has calmed down

I have dealt with parents like that before and trust me, there is nothing you can do to change there out look on you. You dont have to prove anything to them. You know who you are and your girl knows who you are. That is all what matters. Her parents really dont count. If they dont like you, so what, just make sure that you always treat your girl with the utmost respect.

You have to just let them be the way they are and don't let it bother you. Just be yourself I am sure that they will get over judging you after awhile. They may just be worried about there daughter and so they have to think negatively about you.

Claiming christianity isnt always investing in the concepts of christ's teachings. Be yourself, and just know that some of the hardest people to please are always the ones nearest to you.
You dont have to please strangers now do ya?
