how can you catch a cheater over his mistress' house. Do you wait till he thinks you are back comfortable again?

That's lying on your part. I wouldn't wait until he thinks you are comfortable again. If you suspect he's cheating, maybe hire a private investigator, plan a "trip" to clear your head. Tell him you're going to visit your mother or something because you need some alone time for the weekend and you're going to go pamper youself or some other sort nonsense.
But the best solution probably is, if you don't trust him then that's that. You don't trust him. While I don't approve of divorce, the trust you lack in your spouse will more than likely take years and in most cases never to come back. Why put yourself through that agony, wondering if he's really going back to the office, or if he's really getting a gallon of milk. It's not worth it to either one of you.

1. does he come home with a different scent than when he left. (cologne/perfume/soap wise)?
2. Is he claiming to stay at the office more?
3. What's the mileage from home to office; why the difference on the odometer?
