1. before going into panic mode, bleeding and spotting are not the same thing. bleeding during pregnancy is considered finding what appears to having a regular period show up on your pad. (even this is not abnormal. are you cramping?)

2. There are many women who have their regular period for a time during their pregnancy, and do just fine. To be safe, you should contact your doctor, explain your symptoms, and go from there. They may want to see you, they may tell you it's nothing to worry about. (I had my period during a good portion of my pregnancy, and delivered a normal healthy beautiful little girl, who is now 4 and a half years old.)

Hope this helps a little. Good luck.

Call the doctor too be sure but as long as you are not bleeding through a pad and do not have strong cramping you should be ok. It does happen but yes do call. Sometimes it is cause by exerting yourself too much, sometimes by sex. Don't be scared and dont let people on here scare you (the first answer would of freaked me out)

You should be ok

yes and no but i would go to the doctor on the safe side, as i had a small bleed and my man told me to mention it to the doctor and it turned out to be strep b. This is a virus that is common only in women who are pregnant, and left untreated can cause meningitis in your chlid and also still birth, i dont mean to frighten you as if i never mentioned my bleed then i dread to think what would have happened to my baby, am so glad i did, but go anyway to put your mind at rest.

No, Call your Doctor Promptly. It could be a sign of miscarriage or early delivery.
