You will have to first check if you have sound capabilities or not in your system.

If you have windows operating system, right click on My Computer and select Manage.

On the next window that opens up, single click on Device Manager in left pane.

Now see in the right pane, if there is any unkown device listed with a question mark or any sound controller. please check it first and then tell me.

if your laptop is a pre-outfitted (aka Dell, HP, Comapq), you could bypass to there help internet site and get carry of the audio driving force on your laptop. many of the internet sites have a place the place you could seek by using type and could pull up a catalogue of drivers that are linked collectively with your type of laptop. the only concern you may desire to place in is the audio driving force. After thats executed, restart and your mixer could be there lower back. If its no longer a pre-outfitted and you or somebody else outfitted it from scratch, you will choose the driving force disk for the motherboard if its an onboard audio chipset, or the seperate driving force cd if its a addon card (ie: Sound Blaster stay).
