I just went through the same exact scenario last month. We ended up subletting the apartment without letting the management know. They wanted a ridiculous amount of money to break the lease, and were completely unwilling to work with us. So we moved out, and the new girl moved in the same day. She pays us and we pay the apartments.
Also, you could look into transfering your lease to another complex owned by the same company. They might be willing to do that for you. Good luck!

You need to look in the lease agreement and find the paragraph that states what the early lease termination fee is. Typically it is equal to one full month's rent, and a 30 day written notice to vacate. I'm not sure on the rental laws in Ohio, as I am an apartment manager in California. Also, you can speak with your property manager and plead your case about moving early. If they are nice, they will typically let you go without a penalty. Good luck !

Write the company stating why you would like absolve the lease prior to its expiration and it would also be beneficial if his employer would also send them a statement of legitimacy to your claim. They may require a certain penalty for not fulfilling the lease, but then you will just have to make a choice - commute or pay the penalty. Most apartment or rental leases have in their fine print, if you read it, exactly the answers you need for this information. Some allow for employment change, so you may dig out that paperwork and see what it says. Good luck.

Look at you lease. There is a clause about early termination of the contract. There is a penelty that you will need to pay to be let out of the contract. It's typically 2 months rent. Let them management company know your intintions.

You will probably need to sub let....it is the best way to go about it...but if you must leave your lessor may allow you to get out of it...
