I think it depends on the girl and how mature and emotionally ready she is to experience such a travasty. lol. Everyone is ready at thier own speed, wait til it's right for you.

I feel that these days girls grow up much faster and they start dating earlier than we did...lol. My daughter is 16 and she has a steady boyfriend who i get on very well with. He is mixed race like my daughter and he comes from a very good family. I feel if ure a modern parent ure kids will relate to u much better and my daughter knows she can talk to me about anything! The thing with teenagers is LISTEN to them........

As a teaxcher and observer of kids, my opinion is that it is perfectly normal to "go steady" ( as we used to say) at 15 or 16.

when she is mentaly, physicaly, emmotionaly, and finacialy capable of takeing full responsability for her self in all areas of her life without resorting to asking momy and daddy to pick her up when she falls.... that goes for the guys as well...
