It seems logical that maturity has nothing to do with who has a vagina or a penis, and instead, it's about your life experience and your comprehensF. ion of those experiences. You can't magically be more mature without experiencing life and learning from it.
I've met and wintessed both mature and immature girls and guys (and men and women) who were around the same ages.
I've met and witnessed girls who look, sound, and "Act" mature, but when confronted with real life issues that they claim to be mature about, they act very immature and the issue ends up being way out of there league .
Looking, sounding, and Acting mature is different from actually being mature, and it seems many people are fooled by this act.
Seems illogical that maturity is segregated to ones biological sex, yet people believe this myth as scientific truth, and base they're life on it. I'm just speaking from life experience.

Girls do mature faster physically - that is, reach puberty at a younger age, on the average. Boys who have not yet reached puberty are caught in the "girls are icky" frame of mind longer than girls retain negative attitudes towards boys, which is the root reason so many girls date older boys - boys their own age are not ready yet to be interested in girls.
As far as the really important things in maturation, such as being an honest and caring person, taking responsibility for your actions, and not doing dumb things to look cool, then it's probably more an individual difference than a gender difference.

I think girls are faster but again, I also think that boys catch up in the long run

Yeah, dat's true. But the guys always catch up. In middle school, there wuz dis boy named Calvin. He wuz tha shortest guy u could meet. All tha girls were taller than him, including me! But when we got to high school, I saw him and my mouth dropped to tha ground! That guy wuz taller than me!! I couldn't believe how fast he grew within a year. His voice had also gotten deeper too. Dat's when I realized just what they meant, when they talked about "growth spurts".

I think they mature mentally and physically faster than us but we end up catching them up later on.

Women are always mentally more mature than men. They just start when they are little girls. Boys break more bones growning up than girls that is a medical fact. Most emergency rooms have boys than girls. More men are homosexuals 93% Most prisons populations are men 95%! More men go to war and therefore die on the battle field. More men die in accidents, and job related incidents. We start out life with more men babies born.
End up with women out number them 10 to 1.
so are they more mature? Are they more intelligent?
If evolution is true and survival goes to the fitest, then who is the fitest? Let's face it guys, your really cute but you don't last very long. Sorry but your just not to bright.
