While looking up Head of KoRn on the internet, I cam across this article on cbn.com. I for one am somewhat offended by it and was wondering how others felt? "Christians should be the people least surprised by this conversion. We know that in Mark 2:27 Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners” (NIV). If our Lord walked the earth today, we’d more likely find Him at a thrash metal rock concert looking for the wounded rather than sitting in a pew on Sunday morning amongst the righteous. God went to that rock concert and apparently found a hurting soul on stage."

Well, I guess I can't say too much against this little bit of fundamentalist propaganda, as I just spent several minutes on this forum reaming out a fundamentalist for asking if Rosie O'Donnell should "be held accountable" for voicing her opinions re: Christianity and its followers on The View - this is still America, and the First Amendment is still one of the essential freedoms that make it possible for this country to exist, let alone be the greatest on earth - CBN's freedom to express its opinions, however odious they may be to some of us, is guaranteed by the constitution - and so are mine and yours, which is one reason we have this forum

I admit that I was shocked at Brian Welch's conversion. And I still am.

However, he was hurting and God the Great Physician healed him.....and that is what matters.

there are people hiding in the pews for safety from doing the work to please God; just like having a job to 'guarantee' financial success instead of going in business for yourself and earning true freedom; just speak it sister!

What about that offends you? I don't consider myself religious, but having been raised Catholic I can say that it makes perfect sense to me.
