This is not a discussion board. It is a question and answer board. Theoretically this helps to keep things from getting off-topic. But there are a lot of kids on here that threat it like a forum.

you can just not the same way as a forum
if someone says something that you want to respond to you can go back to your question and add details. alot of people will do it like this
ian6868: what ever you want to add
that way you are addressing that person
you can also click that persons icon and depending on thier settings you can contact them.
