I have flown all the way to california with my mom because her father passed away, the funeral will be held at the end of the month. No-one is willing to change things so the other 2 children can be at the service. I think it's just being selfish. There are only two people making the arrangements why can't the other siblings be part of this?

I am so sorry for your loss,it's ashame that people can't put their differences aside and comfort each other in this time of need, but unfortunately they just don't let the past problem's stay in the past and as far as two people making all the arraignments that happens in every family when someone passes.I know its hard to say nothing, but rise above it,be the better person,be there for your mother let it go ,just do what your doing (god bless you)people are selfish, let it go.

To be blunt it is because people today are selfish. They only think of themselves and what they may gain from the death of this person. If there is an inheritance greed plays a major factor. Then on the other side you have the ones who act all nicey nice when someone dies, they are just hoping to gain something off of the ones named in the will.
