I have 500.00 Pesos from Mexico, Id like to convert those to us dollars and do not know where to go. Local banks will not take them so I was looking for anouther place.

500.00 pesos anit squat. It is less than $50. I am sure that there is a large bank that will make the exchange like bank of america or something. And they will charge you a fee. So be prepair to get like $25.00!

Hmm,in most cities,there might be a "Casa de Cambio". In other words,an exchange house where foreign currency can be exchanged at the current rate. Is ther a Mexican Consulate in your area? Maybe the cashier can exchange it for you. Good luck.

Large hotels often exchange foreign currency, and do so without the heavy juice many institutions charge.
