I assume you mean "get away without paying", so I'll answer that way. If you take the ticket to the courthouse and file for a court hearing, there is a very good chance that the police officer will not show up to court on the date and the ticket will be dismissed. This is generally just a waste of time though, because you have to take a day out of your life and most tickets are not worth that. Also, if it is something more serious...like reckless driving, the police officer probably will show up. But it is always worth a try, I guess.

You could consult a lawyer, they have tricks that can cancel that ticket.
One thing they use is to go to court and ask that the Cop who issued the ticket be there.
Ask the Cop to produce a certificate, that proves his speedometer has been checked and is accurate.

If he cannot produce a valid confermation that his speedometer is accurate, you probably can been the ticket. Just say to the judge that the Policeman could not produce a validation and that you are requesting a discmissal on that account. Be alert and watch out for traps in the form of loaded questions. it also depends upon how you were spotted. Were you followed and stopped or did someone put a Radar gun on you, In any case those thing have to be accurate.

Paying it? Just write your check....

Perhaps you meant to ask about a good way to get away with NOT paying a speeding ticket. But since you didn't ask that, I shall move on to the next question.

if the citing officer does not show up for your hearing then the ticket will be dismissed.

if the radar gun has not been serviced in the last year then the ticket will be dismissed.

ifthe ticket was given in a "speed trap" section of raod, then it will be dismissed.

and most importantly, if the ticket has any mistakes on it, even the date, then it is automaticaly dismissed.

good luck!!

no way to get out, but if normally if you go to court it's cheaper than just sending the payment, not sure why, but if you want to try and fight it, you can go to court and plead not guilty, the magistrate will set a new court hearing and when you go back if the cop who gave you the ticket doesn't show up they usually will drop the ticket, if the cop shows up then you bargain it down to a minor incident like a headlight or taillight which will be cheaper and doesn't count against your insurance.

A good way to get away with NOT paying one is not to get one in the first place. Never have another one in your life if you stick to the limits!
