yer wont believe it....might even laugh too...DOCTOR'S PLAY SET and COOKING PLAY SET.....how i'd love to play cooking in those tiny-cute-lookin pats and pans and cups, we would even have a tea party with our tea sets too..in the doctor's set, offcourse and obviously, i will be the doctor, and check out my patients with my plastic stethescope, that was fun and enjoyable, i liked the part where i had to give a jab with my plastic injection and would jab it hard in my patients arm and two off them started cryin...and i got scared and ran off hidin....those were the days..

Lincoln Logs & the game Operation were ones that kept me most occupied if I had to stay indoors.
Usually I was to be found outside though and my favorite toys weren't so much toys as they were companions. I played with the the animals. My dog & I were inseparable and we hiked all over the area, even when I got bigger and older. He'd just follow the horse I was riding, or he'd sit snuggled up with me more often than not.

Without question, it was my bicycle.
It was my "freedom" machine, much as an automobile becomes for a teenager.
My parent were very lenient, by today's standards. I had the run of the town, after my chores and homework were done. My range was only limited by how far my little legs could carry me. From downtown, to the airport, to the orchards to the outlying county parks.
I never felt any limitations. From the days of big balloon tires and fat fenders to the sting ray, banana seat, dirt wonder. I loved my bikes!

I had a lot of games passed on to me from when my bros & sisters were young. One of my favorite board games (and one of the most sadistic) was "Pie Face". When it was your turn, you had to rest your chin on this ledge and turn this crank a certain number of times. If you were unlucky the last crank would catapult a plastic pie tray filled with shaving cream into your face. It was like Russian Roulette. And the plastic tray always hurt. They don't make games like that anymore. I can still hear the 'click, click, click...' of the crank. Wrong in every way!

I had childhood dreams of being a garbage man, so I liked my Matchbox garbage trucks. I still have them too! (I am not a garbage man though.)
