No it isn't I used to do it when I was working construction my hair would be really dry so about an hour before i would shower i would put some in my hair and it helped bring it back to normal. Just make sure to wash your hair out really good and then to rinse the bath tub with really hot water or it is really slippery for the next person.

I wouldn't say that its BAD but I use to use it and then once I stopped my hair was all stringy. So when u start using it your hair gets use to it being in there and it wil act up if you dont!

But I have to say baby oil really helps curl your hair and makaes it last!

No. Baby oil is mineral oil-based, as are most hair oils pomades. You would basically be using the same thing.

Well its not bad my mum used to use baby oil on her curley hair. Only oil and still use it and her hair is perfectly fine ;)

i personally don't.. i use a special type of grease thats help keep the scalp heathy called 'le kair: super grow' << hey the stuff's good might as well advertise it, but my mum sometimes puts baby oil in her hair and her hairs still heathy.. either way us black people gotta keep our hair moist so if baby oils your way then hey good luck with that :)

if you have black hair, YES!! it makes it brittle and breakable.
i don't know about any other hair types having bad reactions to baby oil, it also clogs the pores around your hairline

It's a hassle to remove. I prefer olive oil.
