No one seems to answer this. If you delete an email from your Yahoo email box, can the email be recovered and if so how?

I guess I wasn't clear. I know about the trash bin. That wasn't what I was thinking about. Here is why I am asking. A freind, or at least I thought they were a friend, and I used to email on a regular basis. She would delete the emails and empty the trash bin on a regular basis.
Her current husband somehow found emails written to me from her. He claimed Iwhen you write any email on Yahoo it goes into the internet Cache.
I have gone into the Internet Cache and have never seen emails I have written from Yahoo and deleted in there. I do see references to the email address but not actual emails them selves.
So my question should have been does Internet Explorer load Yahoo Emails Into the Cache.
It is my feeling her husband, an extremely jealous and emotionally abusive man, was spying on her somehow.
So how did he do it? How did he get our emails?

Yahoo mail has a trash bin and if you havent emptied it, your messages can be restored unless they have been dumped by yahoo. I.E. you only have so much space in the trash bin and if its full, yahoo will automatically dump some of it for space starting with the oldest messages.

If you are in your inbox and hit delete and it goes to the trash folder you can still retrieve it up to a certian time period. You have to check what your is set @ cause the trash will automatically dump its load so to speak after so many days and then after that it is definatly gone

If you delete a mail from the INBOX folder then it goes to the TRASH folder. You just have to open the TRASH folder, select the message, select MOVE TO and INBOX.
If you deleted the mail from the trash folder too then there`s no way to get it back.

It should go to the trash folder.
You can take it out of the folder.
But if it's deleted from the trash folder, then no.

Depending on how long ago you deleted the mail, it may still be in your "trash" file. If you cleaned that out, I think that it is gone for good.

I don't think so. Once its gone, its gone.Unless Yahoo keeps extra copies of everything handy in case you delete something important. You'll probably have to contact them about that.
