I bought the truck in april and have the brakes fixed once already. I have it in the shop right now for the second time in five months....
The brakes are mushy...(the dealership says)!

I agree with the ceramics. They are the bomb. But if they are mushy more than likely there is air in the system. I believe when you bleed the air out of this system you have to have it hooked up to a scanner. There is a specific procedure you have to follow.
The scanner communicates with the ABS computer. The scanner tells you which bleeder valve to open and makes the computer force the fluid out. This means you don't have to have someone pushing on the brake pedal to bleed the brakes. The old way of bleeding brakes doesn't work with this model.Mushy usually means air is in there...Or someone bled the system wrong before.

This will probably help but is a little more pricey; however, from the sounds of it you've probably paid quite a bit already. Have the dealership put ceramic brakes on your Trailblazer. Ceramic dissipates heat better and gives your breaks a longer life. Some dealerships will keep putting those "mushy" brakes on your vehicle until the warranty expires and then they'll shoot you in the wallet for a whole re-do of the entire brake syatem. The ceramic brakes should be the ticket to keep your Trailblazer on the trail and not on the lift.
