Has to be "Find The River", it just sends shivers down my spine, and I also love "Fretless" and "The Great Beyond", and "Losing My Religion", and "Man On The Moon" and "Everybody Hurts" and "Its The End Of The World...", and God I love loads of them, but especially "Find The River".
And yes I'd love them to make another album, however their last couple of them where a bit dissapointing, so hopefully, they should be able to come up with something great again. Lets keep our fingers crossed .

Well, Everybody Hurts is unlike any other song I've ever heard. Man in the Moon is as well. Orange Crush is nice and so Is What's the Frequency Kenneth (amazing distortion from Peter Buck).
They are in a class all in themselves. I love R.E.M., but even for the non-crazed fan, I would recommend listening so you can appreciate a band that stands on their own.
I like the question!

Flowers of Guatemala from Life's Rich Pageant
In my opinion they were already past their peak when they recorded Automatic for the People - but due to their immense rise to fame around then, the majority of people calling themselves REM fans nowadays would no doubt disagree.
I would prefer it if they just faded away gracefully now so that I can remember the glory days of albums such as Document and Green without having a tainted view of old men trying to be rock stars. They really should have stopped when Bill Berry left the group anyway.

None of these are my favorite.
"Country Feedback" or "Leave" has that honor at the moment.
I'd like another album if it is a return to the pre-Up R.E.M.

Everybody hurts. But I also hate it at the same time because it remembers me about something that really hurt.
