They have had a bunch of my questions removed from this forum.

Yes and worse they use the word Homophobic as a word of power to suppress any expression of disagreement or disapproval of their point of view. It is still an open question awaiting a resolution what the nature of homosexuality is, perversion, valid lifestyle choice or whatever. But in UK, the evil thought police have made it near on a crime to voice anything contrary to their dogma.

Freedom of speech means liberating ourselves from this evil suppression of expression

It seems to me that people have been speaking out against homosexuality far, far longer than gay people have been expressing themselves. These people seem to want gay people to shut up and go back in the closet and stop trying to get acceptance and the same rights that everyone else has. It seems to me that gay people have been "attacked and accused of mortal sins" way more than these other people.

Yeah,,, Ok --- So this means you are (trying) to force us to believe we are mortal sins????? See your mind isn't free, you have to be controlled by a book that tells you what to do... No one is forcing you to do anything... You are the weak on here and we all know you aren't strong enough to speak for your self... You need someone else telling you what to do...... Good luck .

I don't think so, I think that alot of alternate sexual orientations are just offended when they hear things like, "Gays are sinners and will burn in hell", I think gays have the right to say their rebuttal to this statement. I don't know about you but when a religious freak personal attacks me and starts pushing his or her beliefs or their religion off on me, I don't just get defensive, I GET DOWN RIGHT MAD, and sometimes just plain ignorant. If someone is so insensitive and idiotic to say something like, "You know your going to burn in hell for being gay", I have a innate basic instinct to defend myself and to state my opinion on the matter. I see nothing wrong with religious organizations or personal beliefs, its when those beliefs are pushed upon other people in a VERY disrespectful way, that I become disrespectful too. Perhaps this is not the best way to handle the situation, but sometimes angry takes over at the outrageousness of the situation. I do not however aim to suppress any ones point of view, but I do reserve the right not to listen to it. And furthermore if someone attacks me on any level I will react with the same amount of malice that was directed at me. Besides if the Jesus Jerks read their bibles more carefully they would see that God said that, "Thou shall not Judge, for thy will be Judged."

Attacking and mortal sin accusations are the domain of the "Christian-right" (Which is neither, BTW)

You come in here, to a catagory labeled "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered" and you attack US. We don't go looking for you. You spew your rediculous questions and actually are the one looking for the confrontation.

excuse me, you have that the wrong way around....it's you hateful bigots that accuse US of sin....when the fact of the matter is, preaching hatred and intolerance is the REAL sin!
you have a right to your own opinion, as twisted as it is, but don't expect us not to defend ourselves every time you come here and trash us!

Not all do. I think that everyone has a right to their opinion just like I have the right to speak up and defend myself if someone says something to piss me off.

Yes. And the same thing could be said of your cousin the bank robber at Christmas dinner.

The point being: oftentimes being polite is more important than being right.

No, anyone can say whatever they want to. We live in the USA and no one is forcing anyone to do anything.
