Spray it with hairspray and let it set for a few hours, then wash it normally.. Hairspray works for all ink stains. Just don't dry the pants until the stain has come out, if you do, the stain will set and never come out.

Try club soda. It works for red wine...it might work for red ink as well. Not sure though. Good luck.
