Their music broke many grounds on many levels, and while Led Zeppelin is often linked to dope-heads, I still dig their music very much. They are a great Rock band that influenced bands to follow and generation(s) later. If someone denies even any of this band's influence, they are dumbasses. The greatest ever? Quite possibly, but I think they should be classified as the greatest Hard Rock band. Some will argue that the Rolling Stones or The Beatles, or The Who are the greatest Rock band, but I don't think any musicians have ever come close to imitating or let alone produce the sound Led Zeppelin has created. Yes, I have their CDs, so evidently I like them.

Led Zeppelin are the greatest ever! No one can touch Jimmie Page's guitar virtuosity, and Bonzo had to be the greatest drummer I have ever heard, then or since (R.I.P, Bonzo) The range of Robert Plant's voice is incredible . They rocked then and they rock now. Led Zeppelin broke down many of the barriers in rock music and has in some way influenced every band since then....even punk bands give credit to Led Zeppelin being an influence on them.
Some people are so closed minded that they simply refuse to believe the truth. Led Zeppelin will forever be the greatest rock band.
End of discussion!
btw....can you tell that I really love Led Zeppelin? lol
p.s. I'm re-reading "Hammer of the Gods The Led Zeppelin Saga" now. (3rd time) Great book and a must read for any Zeppelin fan

Yes, and over time Led Zeppelin music doesn't seem to age as quickly as the Beatles or the Stones.

I don't know why people deny it, there is no one else that even comes close to their greatness.

Because Led zeppelin is just a good band, Not the Best!
They are a comercial band.
Jimy Page and band were good, but there were many other bands better than them.
