I'm not sure what to do with the rest of this answer.
2 times the square root of three plus four. I know that the four has a square root of 2, but where does the two fit in? Is it added to the two which multiplies the problem?

2*(3)^1/2+4 or 2rt3+4

from your question its not clear that 3 and 4 both are inside the square root sign or just 3 is inside square root and 4 outside.

It sounds like the math expression is

2sqrt(3) + 4

or

2(sqrt(3) + 4)

or

2sqrt(3 + 4)

Please try to state the actual expression you are concerned about.
