The rash is circular like with raised edges. It itches when scratched or when my thighs rub together. I have had it for over a month. At times it seem to get better but then flares up again. My doctor told me to use hydrocortizone and benadyrl. I am 36 weeks pregnant and very worried.

If left untreated ringworm will generally spread...it's awful, I had it when I was seven.

I wouldn't worry about it, just listen to the doc and make sure to keep the area dry...if you think it's chafing use powder (non-talc)

Sounds like ringworm. Fortunately, it's a fungus, not a worm like the name implies. It IS very contagious though, so keep the creams on as your doctor has prescribed until it clears up, and make sure that the doctor delivering your baby knows so that you can make sure contact with your child is avoided. A natural remedy for it if you don't want to be using chemicals is Teatree oil mixed with water. Best to check with your doctor first before changing treatment though. Congratulations on your new family member, and good luck :-)

I'm telling you nothing works better then a little bleach. Get a cotton ball, pour some bleach on it and rub a little bleach on it and in a week it will be totally gone in a week( put the bleach on it like every other day until gone. I must warn you that it burns a little because it's killing the ringworm. Also finger nail polish work to and it stop the ringworn from getting bigger.

i know exactly what you are talking about i have had those in the past and i have one now on my thigh as well.... no it's not ringworm and putting lydrocortizone cream does help with the itch and it will go away by itself. there is nothing to worry about it's not going to harm the baby. good luck with the birth and long happy lives for the both of you!!

If you are having sex this could be due to a high acid level in either the guys sperm or your secretions. Or you may be allergic to a product being used. I got them just about the time that I got yeast infections and until it cleared it did not stop. Start eating some yogurt and drinking cranberry juice and if it doesn't ease ask the doctor to test you for a yeast infection.

I've had the same thing. I'm not sure what it is...maybe a food allergy. I only got it twice but i remember it itched SO BAD!! I didn't treat it with anything. I think its just irritation from your legs rubbing together. Mine went away on its own. Good Luck!

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/niQiz
