Because I said I did not want to see the movie "Brokeback Mountain". Truthfully I think two men doing it is kind of gross, but I dont otherwise have negative feelings toward gay people. Also, I do not generally like love stories of any kind I am not really sure why everyone is so upset because I dont want to see this particular film.

No because you don't like these types of movies anyway, if you didnt want to see it because they were gay that would be somewhat bigoted.

If you would have seen it in case the characters weren't gay, then it's not about the movie, it's about negative feelings towards gay... If you didn't like the idea of watching a love story, then it's not about gay people, it's simply a matter of movie taste...

No. Lets be honest Brokeback is a chick flick, it just so happens the relationship in this movie is about gay men. If you tend to not like chick flicks there is no reason you would like this one any more.
Also I'm not a big fan of Ang Lee. Crouching Tiger was good, but everything else has done wasn't really any good.

you're entitled to your own personal taste, I am a woman and even I hate chick flicks! (howver, seeing Heath Ledger kissing another man... I find it kindda hot... but that's just me!) And still, I didnt see the movie
