Aj this is not a valid argument. The spread of disease can be prevented just like pregnancy can be prevented but abortion are still and I think will remain legal Plus most prostitutes are far safe than the average woman.

Seti it is against the law to possess the drug therein common sense would tell you you must possess the drug to use it therin it is illegal to use.

Babygirl the possibility that me boyfriend might have sex with a hoker and give ma a disease is not a reason for it to be outlawed. It is like abortion in many ways who are we to tell those women and some men what they can and can not do with their bodies when it is only directly affecting them??????

Sweetie I hate to burst your bubble but those reasons you described are the reason for about 5% of abortions the majority of the rest are just because that woman did not want a baby and more or less just beacause she wanted to , it is legal, and her decision.

Prostitution is legal in parts of Nevada.
I think most states do not legalize it because it is so " in your face " when they walk down the streets looking for customers. Abortion on the other hand can be hidden and swept under the rug and not dealt with until it hits us personally.
Sin is sin and no matter how we sugar coat it is still sin.

Well here is to this question and your last one too....
I wouldn't want someone who is popped up on whatever drug to be driving a car near me some of that stuff makes you see **** and lowers your response time. Other drugs make you incredibly moody and dangerous to other people. As for prostitution it is legal in certain areas but these women are tested for diseases on a weekly basis so they aren't spreading AIDS and Hepatitis and **** to other people. How would you feel if your significant other slept with a prostitute and then came home and gave you a disease that he picked up from that dirty whore? "I love you honey but I couldn't keep it in my pants so now you are gonna Die!" Nice real nice!
Abortion is a choice woman are given for various reasons such as if the woman would die from carrying her child or if the child was gonna die anyway. Or be porn a Vegetable or something like that then I would understand. I personally don't agree with abortion just cause you don't want a baby. If you cant deal with the consequences leave your legs shut. But I don't think that drugs and prostitutes are anywhere near the same no matter how you try to reason it. Those are more detrimental to society as a whole than an abortion is. An abortion affects the individual.

I don't know why prostitution is not legal. I don't see why it shouldn't be legalized; it would make it safer for everyone. I read your previous posting on drug use; it seems to me that no one ever goes to jail for "drug abuse", it's always either "posssession" or "DUI" or something to that extent. It's not "illegal" to use drugs, but it IS illegal to possess them. Abusing drugs is individual choice, I agree, but no one it penalized for it - only for possession or operating vehicles under influence. So, I don't quite see how it corresponds with the abortion question. There are a lot better arguments against abortion, involving moral grounds, but there is just as good of an argument FOR it. Don't think comparing abortion to drug use and prostitution makes a point.

B/c abortion is a choice, and prostitution spreads diseases. Plus if you didn't legalize abortion, people would be doing it illegally and probably unsafe.

Because when you have an abortion ...the doctors get paid...the doctors pay taxes and the doctors are influential people with the lawmakers ....when you are a prostitute you get paid...you pay no taxes....you have not gone to school and paid the state to learn your profession and therefore no one is profiting from it but you...hence it's illegal. You have to pay to play in all games.
