How much does ebay charge to sell your things on there? The site said starting at .20cents but how high can it go & what determines the price?

P.S. As you will see, there are fees to list an item, and a final fee which is what ebay will charge on the final price you sell your item for. I usually figure to subtract 8% of the winning bid to cover all fees.

Whatever you decide to charge for the item sent your opening costs, plus for whatever it sells for.

If you have a very high priced item, you might want to have a reserve auction, so the up-front costs aren't that high and if it fails to generate a level of funds you want, you have nothing to worry about

The lower your starting price the lower the fee will be for the insertion. Also depends on how many pictures you need to put in.

there are levels. you have listing fees, additional fees for picture and code options. also, the percentage they charge varies with the price of the item. ebay has a schedule of all of the fees.

It depends on your starting bid, reserves, how many pictures you put up, there are a lot of factors.
