if so how much do you spend to get the best deals for your money?
i have ive boughten for my gfs kids, and for my uncle, and a few odds and ends, i am going to start early this year?

I've begun my christmas shopping. And the best part is that living here in San Antonio, it's pretty much 100 degrees year round. Soo... when the summer stuff goes on clearance I'm there! That's what I shop. The clearance and sale. It's the best and you know next year, no one will have it because it's "out of season". Lucky for me, no one in my family cares about fashion rules. But I've started and will continue with little bits here and there. It's good to start early!! Good Luck!

Last Christmas, I said I was going to start shopping in Sept. I haven't started yet!! I probably will do the same thing as always & get into a mad rush at the last minute. I buy for many, and they are all hard to buy for. I give a lot of gift certificates. I used to feel I was taking the easy way out, but I truly think people
like them better.

Only 96 days left! Actually I haven't started shopping yet, but I usually start in the summer (then I have trouble keeping from giving them their gifts, but I can't wait!). I spend various amounts, but the kids are now grown so I don't seem to spend quite as much as I used to. I hate shopping and hate the crowds, so I usually do my shopping on eBay...I'm sure the mail lady just LOVES me;)

Im going to start early this year too. I will start after Halloween. I havent bought anything this year and I usually wait till early December. I have a baby to buy for this year too so I am so excited for Christmas to come!!

Actually, I have a million nieces and nephews, so we limit to $20 apiece, and I start right AFTER Christmas, for the next year, to get everything on clearance.
Yes, I know I'm cheap!

Haven't started the actual purchasing, but AI know what I want to get two of my favorite men. I priced the tiems and I will see if my thoughts stay in that direction.
