I am not trying to put anyone down, but why are some people so rude to you when you complain about the aches and pains of pregnancy? One woman asked why it was hard to lift her legs and someone told her she was lazy. I don't see how that is called for. Isn't it common knowledge that every pregnancy is different and some woman hurt more than others? I know it is accepted that some women get morning sickness or swelling more than others, so why is it so hard for some people to believe that some women are more physcially affected by pregnancy? More power to the women who can exercise every day of their pregnancy, but I feel the pain of the ones who can barely move. I have many days like that.

I am not saying that I don't want this baby. I am very much looking forward to having her. But at the same point if I can't lift my 2 year old because of the pain in my hips, I don't want to be trashed for saying so. I know no one can fix it, people just need to have a little sympathy or empathy. You can't fix it, but you don't have to make me feel bad for it!

i know exactly where your coming from i think that there are a lot of women out there that have had what are considered "easy" pregnancies so when other women are having problems they can't relate and just think that they are being whiny but like you said every pregnancy is different and affects people differently
one of the girls that i work with had her baby in july and she said that her pregnancy was a breeze and never had any problems and she felt great the entire time
i on the other hand had morning sickness so bad the first four months it was like the flu 24/7 and was pretty ruff but i also feel lucky because i know that there are other pregnant women out there that have it worse than i do and i feel for them i know that i always got mad when i was in the break room at work and some of the women were like oh morning sickness isn't that bad i'd just bite my tounge and go on my way

I think the only reason people are rude is because there is no way to help a pregnant woman. You cant take it away from her and she did it to herself. (OK with a little help) But It is still no excuse to complain, or be rude. But that is the society we all live in now. I am a mother of 2 and I am also 20 weeks pregnant. I complain sometimes too. But when I do my hubby just says sorry. I do not want him to be sorry. I want him to fix it. But that is not possible. This is my opinion.
oh and as far as the complaint is concerned. I believe complaining about anything is OK. I was in a very large car accident, and my back has 6 inches of arthritis. Also my neck has 3 inches. But you know what. I think if someone has to be rude about anyone complaining, then it is there problem. Carma will get them for being jerks.

I agree... people like that either dont have children or had a very simple pregnancy... when i was pregnant with my daughter i had Hyperemesis gravidarum so I was VERY SICK...my labor was also 32 hours..unlike some of the people out there(expecally celebrities) who schedule unnecessary c-sections 3 weeks before their due date so they have to push or worry about getting stretched out.

many people are just tired of others complaining. I have been pregnant and know how it is. I just think that everyone has a bad day and want to take it out on someone else. Sorry

I think it's extremely rude when someone complains or looks down on a pregnant woman because she's not feeling too good. i mean come on we carry around alot of extra weight - that we gain in a short amount of time. i had alot of people looking down on me and really rude to me - almost pushing me down when they walked past me. this world has gotten really bad, guys on a bus will give their seat to a skinny little girl who can stand up fine, but not an 8 1/2 month pregnant girl whose almost falling over when the bus takes off or makes a quick stop - i'm not complaining, just thinking of how messed up this world is becoming.

Yeah, I definitely have to agree with you there. I guess when you post any kind of question on here, you can expect to get rude answers from all kinds of people. But there are still some nice people on here who want to help....as it should be. I think it was awful of that person to tell her she was lazy!!! And I dont know why some of these ''boys'' have to get on here and try to answer questions about pregnancy!!! Most of them know absolutely NOTHING about it.

People who are rude to questions like that obviously havent had children...
Those of us who have understand and sympathize with their aches and pains.

they act rude because the aches and pains are a part of pregnancy and many women who have already gone threw it and have more than one child don't want to hear it because they made it threw okay.
