OH MAN IT HAS TO BE GENE SIMMONS FROM KISS, OR ALICE COOPER!!!

Paul Stanley of Kiss is pretty easy, doesn't require a lot of props. Gene Simmons if you're lingually gifted (i.e., really long tongue) - but that's really difficult to fake with props - LOL

Marilyn Manson if you can get your hands on some odd contact lenses.

Angus Young of AC/DC just requires a British schoolboy's outfit.

Mick Jagger doesn't require clothes / props so much as being able to ape the chicken walk and his other exaggerated stage moves.

Elvis Presley is an option, of course, but that's a pretty Vegas way to go - and it's arguable whether he's considered a rockstar.

Beatles? Needs hairstyle, mod suit.

Roy Orbison? Dark glasses and that jet black pompadour.

Dee Snider of Twisted Sister?

There's my 0.02 of suggestions. Hope this helps, have a great time. Don't forget the Rockstar energy drink..."Party like a Rockstar"

If that's any song celebrity, i might go as Dolly Parton- She's magnificent ! yet while it ought to be rockstar, i might get nude colored undies and a very long wig and go as Alanis Morisette from that Thank U Video the place she grew to become into bare...or in simple terms go as 80's Madonna.

Depends on the time frame. You could dress up as Adam Ant, Boy George, Ric Ocasek, Billy Gibbons, Elton John, David Bowie, Dee Snyder - lots of possibilities!

I second the suggestions of Kiss or Alice Cooper. They are both instantly recognisable, and have the advantages that it doesn't really matter what the rest of your clothes are like - as long as you have the wig and tha makeup nailed, black jeans, t-shirt and leather jacket will do.

Dee Snider from "Twisted Sister". He should be pretty easy to emulate. Just get a frizzy blonde wig and you're halfway there...
