as a buyer I like a wide assortment of books and I'd love a nice selection of Antiquarian/Rare//First Editions/Signed/Hard to find etc to be available for sale or and auction. Reasonable shipping is a definite plus...along with a new idea****something like a "frequent flyer" program for repeat customers would be really nice, especially the way I go through them!!!! A Return/Resale or credit towards purchase option???? Kinda like on ink-jet cartridges ya know?

I prefer sites that accept purchase orders, particularly POs from libraries.

If a used book I want it not available immediately, I would like to be able to put it on a "want" list and be notified if/when it becomes available.

Accurate ISBN listings are very important for title searching and verification of different editions.

Advanced searching capabilities are quite important for narrowing title searches. (For instance, searching a title at Amazon.com often turns up numerous false hits and it can be difficult to locate exactly what you want if the title contains common words.)

Accurate descriptions of the books are also very important.
