It's important to not put anything past the intelligence agencies in the US.They monitor "chatter" all over the Internet. So why not YA.I wish them well in anything they do because I have nothing to hide.I don't care if they tap my phone, monitor my travels and associates.Doesn't matter to me.Just keep us safe and catch the enemy.I'm sure that some attention is being paid to YA and many other blogs as well. And it's not an invasion of privacy.Anyone who posts on this site makes what they're saying public knowledge by choice.YA results can be found by search engines as well.Joe

Funny but possible.
Even more daring Conspiracy theory :US Government uses Yahoo! Answers to find details about each user's private life. Imagine That a guy at level 5 or just 3 has answered a couple hundred questions
- any one could profile you from that just like Google or AOL gathers
all the querries and words millions type in their search engines.

People these days are so convinced that the government is tracking down everything they do, but the government isn't.

If the govenment is watching what I do on the internet or in life, why should I care? I have nothing to hide.

I wouldnt doubt it at all. They are probably checking out anybody that has said anything against this administration. They just dont seem capable of handling any critisism without accusing the critic of being a muslim sympathizer.

Hopefully.

If they are gonna invade our privacy, at least do something constructive with it.

I hope they aren't using it to find people who are politically against this administration - but that wouldn't surprise me either.

Oh no, here comes another letter from the IRS! I better stop with the political insurrection.

The thing about answers is that there is such a significant amount stupidity flying around here that it would be hard to weed through that stuff to identify any real threat. maybe Im wrong.

U.S. Government made yahoo, google and other search engines report to them how many porn related searches they get. If they can do that - they can do anything. Privacy is the thing of the past - how you take it away from people - just the limits of your (or theirs) imagination.
