Bible prophecy adherents are influencing US and world politics and pressing for Middle Eastern countries to conform to Bible prophecies. What disease of the mind or soul would cause these people to interfere with issues that have already adverse effects upon the world. Should this be tolerated or outlawed in Western Countries?

Cancer seems a bit harsh but does seem to fit the bill because it is an Authoritarian Belief that is Antiquated and is in desperate need of updating. That is to say people can't keep going around believing they can answer today's problems with yesterdays solutions!

Neither Buddhism nor Taoism has the same problem and the reason is simple. Eastern Religions concentrate on teaching one how to think and not what to think. Semitic beliefs are too engrossed in competition and strife and self promotions like the Chosen Ones, Gods Only Son, The One True God and give no rational for even having a human brain. As a result any casual study can show while Easterners are not without their own faults and psychosis the West is becomming increasingly socio-pathic, sadistic, cynical, fatalistic and partanoid and this social trend can be traced back to the popular Western Religions!

Any belief system can develop into what you've termed "a spiritual cancer", depending on the reaction of the individual who believes.
If that individual is intolerant, fanatical and more than a little whacko, he/she will always believe that his/her noble, "God-ordained" end, more than justifies whatever means may be necessary to see its fulfillment.
And that would go for Jews, Christians, Muslims or ANY other faith. Moreover it would also go for, say, vegetarians, animal-lovers, etc.
So, why pick just "Judeo-Christianity?" It's NOT the faith that's the problem; it's the "true believers" whose twisted interpretation of that faith/idea whom we have to worry about.

Spiritual Cancer??? I think not.... Christianity is the only
religion with a living god. Mohammed or Bhudda did NOT
rise from the grave.
