This is in reference to Cuba in the 1990's, or around there.

I'm doing a homework assignment, and I need to know what a G-2 agent is because I think it might be on a test, and my teacher didn't tell the class what it was... sorry for the trouble, but does anyone know? Thank you.

Oh, and by the way, I'm not trying to get someone to do my homework for me or anything, just looking for a definition. I couldn't find it on Yahoo! Search or wikipedia.org. Thanks again.

The Cuban Intelligence Agency, or Political Police, are referred to as the G2. Therefore, someone who works for them would be called a G2 agent.
