well thats kinda hard. i dont drive so i cant step off the gas or the break. so i guess i would have to say that i would step off my feet lol.. maybe off my stairs or soemthing..

I'd find where it was you want me to step off of. Dictionary= Step NOUN: 1a. The single complete movement of raising one foot and putting it down in another spot, as in walking. b. my private space (you know those couple inches in front of my face that could get a person hit-you know what I mean), my conversation (cause you don't know what the hell you're talking about), and my business.
That's what I get from that phrase. It's an old term, but that's what we used to use that term for back in the day.
