It means only unleaded fuel, of whatever grade the vehicle manufacturer suggests. It means not diesel fuel, or Pepsi, or chocolate syrup, or vodka, etc.

Back in the day, there used to be two types of fuel, Leaded and unleaded. The leaded fuel was used to help lubricate specific parts of the engine, but nowadays, due to technology and all sorts of good stuff like that it is no longer needed (and not to mention the polluting qualities of leaded fuel were less than desirable.) The main purpose of the sticker is to differentiate to the driver to use gasoline as opposed to diesel in your vehicle, just like diesel cars have ones that say "Diesel Fuel Only." Consult your owners manual if you need to use a specific grade of fuel, and don't fall into the trap of thinking that Premium is the best to use all the time, cause more often than not, you are just wasting your money.

No, It means Unleaded fuel......not Diesel. If you want peak performance use Premium Unleaded. Yes it does cost more than the cheap stuff, but it will make your car/truck run smoother, and you will get better fuel milage in return.

You should use the least expensive unleaded fuel if you are driving around as you normally do. If you are going on a long trip or pulling something with a hitch, that is when you should use the more expensive priced fuel.

regular fuel was used to lubricate the cylinders by means of lead. now environment issues have outlawed the use of lead and better oils have eliminated the need for lead. unleaded fuel is like regular gas without the lead.

It means you should use unleaded fuel only, not necessarily the cheapest. See your owners manual for the octane grade you should use.

Years ago, you could purchase leaded or unleaded fuel. Of course they stopped selling leaded gas many, many years ago. I don't know why they still put those stickers on cars??????

Years ago tetramethyl lead was used to boost the octane level in gasoline. Leaded gasoline was completely phased out in the early 90's. However most racing fuels, that have 100+ octane still contain some amount of tetramethyl lead.

Exactly what it says. Use unleaded fuel only.

always follow the rules but you can put unleaded plus it is a little better and it may cost a cent more but it beats 100's of dollars to fix your car in case it gets broke!
