I'm doing a homework assignment, and I need to know what a G-2 agent is because I think it might be on a test, and my teacher didn't tell the class what it was... sorry for the trouble, but does anyone know? Thank you.

Oh, and by the way, I'm not trying to get someone to do my homework for me or anything, just looking for a definition. I couldn't find it on Yahoo! Search or wikipedia.org. Thanks again.

Neddie, I don't think it's a female spy because in the book (which is what my homework is on), it says "he" when they are talking about him.

What class is it for? Because the only thing I know that pertains to G-2 is directly related to counterintelligence and security. It is a higher echelon of intelligence above the battalion and company level of staffing... G-2 agent could also be referring to terminology in Nuclear, Biological, Chemical training (NBC), or the Guatamalan equivalent of the U.S. C.I.A
