I was the last one to leave the office last week, and there was a torrential downpour going on. Everyone scattered to their cars, while I locked up the place and slowly strolled to the Jeep. I somehow didn't mind that I was getting out and out soaked. I LOVE rain.

Most definitely...funny you should mention Florida...I grew up in Tampa. I have always loved the lightening strikes and the thunderous claps I knew would soon follow. To this day I even love the rain by it self. My father grew up on a farm in a small town west of Mariana. I used to visit there during summer vacation from school. Being around all the animals (cows, horses, pigs, chickens) was shear delight for a city boy. Not to mention the fresh milk and fresh churned butter along with the fruits and vegetables grown right outside your door. Yet my main delight was inside the barn when it rained. It had a tin roof.
The sound of rain on a tin roof is pure ecstasy...pleasure from the Gods.
How I miss those days.

So you are the one. I went to Miami once and it rained everyday. People kept asking me why I didn't go out to the beach more. I told them "Sure, you just want to collect on my insurance policy." I have no problem singing in the rain, I have stood out in the storm and braved the lightning and thunder but I can't say I fell in love with experience. After all, I have also been through many a hurricane and they are nothing to sneeze at. I will say this, it beats the dry heat of other parts of the country.

JoBu likes to bring his buddy Mason(my dog) and a bottle of rum to the porch during them. Very relaxing. For the dog too.
Rum Shots a a good Thunderstorm. Which may ruin my vist to the Met game tonight.

yeah. i hate it when its just a little bit cloudy, but I love a storm. If its not gonna be stormy it needs to be a large thunderstorm with lots of rain.

I absolutely LOVE thunderstorms! I wish it stormed more! I love to sleep when it is raining also

I love them! My favorite days are mild temps, dark rolling clouds, wind that blows the leaves all around and thunder! Not crazy about the rain unless I'm trying to sleep!

I absolutely love thunderstorms!!
We don't get as many here in Ohio, we just get more rain than anything else.
