Norton Antivirus is probably the best antivirus. However, an antivirus is probably not as important as spyware protection. There is no money in writing viruses but there is a lot of money to be made writing spyware. I personally use Avast (free antivirus) and Microsoft Windows Defender (also free). With these, I have not had a virus and very little spyware. Also, I would recommend using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Although it is not actually more secure, there are far fewer people trying to write viruses and spyware that affect firefox than Intenet Explorer. I've been using Firefox for about 3 years now and have not once been infected by a virus or spyware through it.

Will even find a virus in the installer wizard, like "Wise Installer". And will stop the installation while it is being installed and clean. Plus this program always will trace back who installed the trojan.

I had a trojan in and wizard installer. Twister caught the trojan and stopped the installation. I wrote the origianl company and told them the wizard installer had an embedded trojan to steal your data. The company now uses thier own installer.

All of the mentioned programs are good... essentially, all work the same. Spyware cleaners are also quite good, and necessary.

The best strategy is not being noticed. Careful where you send emails -- i like to have an email address that i don't care about that i use when signinup up to services online -- these are the places you'll get spammed, and that means the places you'll receive trojans etc. Just ignore what you receive to this address. Never open .exe files that are sent to you -- generally, don't open anything that doesn't have a recognized extension.
