It depends on the texture of the walls. If there is enough textured material to grab on to with their claws, they can climb anything. Rodents are smart and extremely atheletic.

Yes they can. I used to have a horse and would regularly see mice running up and down the walls. So the nursery rhyme "Hickory Dickory Dock, the mouse ran up the clock" could be factual

Sorry, yes they can. My boyfriend use to disagree w/ me until he moved into a historical house I lived in. We had a mice prob. They def can run up walls. If you get them bad you will find droppings on your stove, and kitchen counter. They use to go in my kitchen closet, and climb the walls, and get into my boxes of food. You would find little mouse holes in things like, pancake box, mac and cheese box, oatmeal box, cereal, etc. I know IT SUCKS! I had to move that house was so............ bad. My landlord would not help. Mice can fit it a hole the size of a dime. To this day I have a phobia of mice.

yes they run up inside cavity walls but they can climb brick walls they are the cause of house fires by chewing through cables. If you have an infestation get on the the environmental health people asap

Yes the can ! on the inside cavity`s they can`t blatantly run up a plaster wall in your home only from the cavity side . but they can walk up a brick wall .

Never seen it happen, but it may well be possible if they take a big enough run up to the wall!!
