Super Smash Brothers Melee is the best multiplayer GCN game out there, and also soul calibur 2 if you like fighting with swords.
Mario Party 4, 5, 6, and 7 for the GameCube is good but not great. Most of the minigames there are really easy, but if you like that type of gaming, give it a try.
Mario Tennis is a great and addictive sport game, just like its N64 prequel.
Also if you got 4 friends, you can play the game The Legend of Zelda The Four Swords

Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Super Smash are my favorites. Mario Tennis is pretty fun too.

Timsplitters (i think its Timesplitters 2 or 3..for gamecube) Was very fun. also a great singleplayer play.
