Well I think that one of the greatest things we can experience is knowing that another person understands us. Really understands us. And also that the other person feels what we feel. It validates what we have felt and experienced.

Of course no 2 people see EXACTLY from the same perspective. But the closer we are in sharing that with another person, the better we feel. It's wonderful to be validated and understood.

I'd say that probably the most important aspect would be that it facilitates communication. If two (or more) people are NOT "sharing the same reality", then communication on many/most/all matters between/among them would be well-nigh impossible.
On the other hand, I have to ask whether ANYONE "shares the same reality" with anyone else. In at least some respects, MY reality, what I see as true, is almost certainly going to be different from YOURS. Oh, if we're (relatively) sane, there's probably a lot more that we can agree, rather then disagree, about regarding what is "real." But the chances that our "realities" would match completely is, I'd say, virtually impossible.

i am not sure shared reality is possible, since every expereince we have is influenced by our attitude, past encounters. thats why sibilings raised in the same family have a different story about thier childhood even though they were identical events.

why?

reality is different for all.

sharing it could be a problem. especially with those who's reality is a bit bent on destruction and warped with anger.
