I have three baseballs signed by Nolan Ryan and the signature was done with a normal pen not a permenant marker. The signature seems to be fading. How can I preserve the baseball so the signature will not continue to fade?

Contact a company that makes ballpoint pens, like Bic, and ask their customer relations department. They will be happy to help you. Also, keep the ball wrapped up, out of direct sunlight.

I believe there is a spray you can use to preserve the signatures. I'm not sure where you can buy this spray, or even the name of it. Maybe an art shop; I've seen someone use it on a painting, to preserve it and the signature....so perhaps it will preserve the signatures on the baseball. Good luck.

Good question, I've got a 1972 baseball autographed by the entire Chicago Cubs team and it's fading badly. Wondered the same thing myself.

The "little plastic boxes" are in simple terms advantageous for storage motives. they are going to keep your autographs dry and freed from airborne dirt and dust. the image you have indexed is likewise an incredible thank you to keep AND exhibit your autographs. you in user-friendly terms ought to make a call on how precise you may want to exhibit your series. you will stumble on an incredible type of super situations for sensible expenses, yet from a storage perspective, no one case is "greater effective" then the different. the only element that concerns is how precise you need your exhibit to look. the 1st answer is extremely somewhat humorous. I cant think of every physique doing that.

Go to a local card shop and they will help you out. But what i do is i put it in a plastic bag and store it somewhere where sunlight doesn't get to it. That will help.....sounds crazy, but it will work.
